whats up guys ive been getting some good info on a panhead im working on for a guy. i just found this area to introduce yourself. i am not new to harleys in the slightest, i have been working on them with my dad since i was 13 in 2002 when him and my mom got their first harleys, a 2002 vrod and 2002 heritage softail classic carb model. well after my first time working on them with my dad i was hooked on harleys and fell in love with old school styles i.e. indian larry (my hero haha) billy lane, mondo, chica, and anything else oldschool custom. well i knew what i wanted to do with my life after watching the first biker build off with indian larry, i wanted to go to motorcycle mechanics institute, well 2007 comes around i graduate high school and turn 18 i start mmi in november take the early and late model H-D courses they offered and got a ton of info and learned alot about bikes while i was there. i know ive been asking info on a certain 1956 panhead on the forum and thats because i havent worked on a older bike since i went to the school but i have the ability to do the work to them. i have some pictures of the vintage bikes that were in the class i just so happened to work on i will post them up asap. just felt like coming in here introducing myself and telling a bit about myself and how i got into the harley scene and set my career and life into stone. the only bad thing about living around 2 heritage softail classics (the original 2002 and a 2010) a buell 1125r and a honda rc51 i dont have a harley or fast bike for myself, i ride a 1996 honda shadow vlx. i get messed with alot for rideing a honda but working on hondas. all i say is "its not about what you ride or how you ride, its all about that you ride!"
