New from STNY and have a question.
I've been obsessing over harley's over the past couple months and am now working a ton of overtime to save for one. Everyone at work has one and just makes me want one more. My question, I am 5'9" and weigh about 200lbs. I was wondering if I should base my height and weight on what bike I want. I've pretty much narrowed it down to buying either a Night Train or a Road Glide. It seems there is at least a 100lb difference between the the two bikes. I also don't have too much riding experience. I just don't want to start out on a Sportster. Any help would be great as I am planning on getting my bike and then riding to Florida next year to live.

With the two bikes U torn between, it sounds like U really still dont have any idea what Ur needs are.
NT is more for cruising and the SG is more for the road..
The SG will sit higher but has bags which some want and need.
Both are great looking bikes, but each one has its uses.
I'd suggest not to rush into buying either just for looks or money, as most in here will tell U; sit, ride and figure how Ur going to use the bike and then find one that fits U and Ur needs...
Good luck with what ever U choose.

Thanks for the comments, I won't be buying till next year this time. Want to get the research and everything done so my choice will be easier when the time comes. My first real ride will be from Binghamton,NY to Tampa, FL. I will be moving there next year. My plan is to ship my belongings and ride there. Once I am there my bike will be my only means of transportation. I mean if its raining for a week straight I'll borrow a car for the week but I don't really even want to do that. I picked those two based off of their looks. I like the black of the NT and the fairing on the RG is awesome. My moms boyfriend has the SE Ultra and I sat on that last week and was like holy ****, that thing is huge. Plus, price is also a factor. It seems that all the RG lose no value no matter what the mileage is. There are hundreds of RG's that I have looked at and all of them have a decent amount of mileage and are still $17k. I believe they are $19k new.
