Default Street Glide Slip On: Vance and Hines q

Hello everyone!

Newbie here from the Philadelphia, PA area.

I am a recent owner of a used 2008 FLHX Street Glide, 13,500 miles on it when I bought it. The bike runs great, but I'm missing the sound from my old bike. I had Cobra slash cut pipes, no baffles on a Honda Sabre v1100. I did a lot of work on it and was sad to see her go when I traded her in. But... it had a great roaring sound whenever I throttled on the highway and had great torque.

I'm now looking for slip ons to get that sound back (albeit, not as obnoxious). I'm looking for a nice tone that will pull when I need it. The slip ons that currently have my eye are:
Vance and Hines Straight Cut with Turn-Down End Caps

Anyone have these on a Street Glide? If so, do you like them?

Welcome to the forum.

Check out Bassani slip-ons also. Great sound, looks, and performance. I run them on my Street Glide.

lots of them out there..

just saying I love my (our) Rush 2''... specially once the cams went in.......

IMO there hard to beat......great rumble at idle,,, fairly mild running steady and roar when nailed...

Welcome aboard from Biloxi Mississippi!

I have Rush slipons w/ 2.0 in baffles... sounds great with fullsac true dual kit, and not too loud for my tastes.
