Well here I am....
I originally signed up here to unload some stuff, but rules say that basically I need to pad posts before being allowed.
Been riding since a kid and bought my first bike 750 Bonneville while in the Navy and a 650 Bonneville hardtail chopper called the Widowmaker.Had a couple of Sporties '74 XLCH,and a '82 XLH then got a '95 FXD and two years ago bought a '08 Streetbob. Here's where it goes bad.Last summer got rear ended leaving work, not bad but bike looked like crap.Got parts on order and waited the mandatory 3 months for HD to muster up a painted fender so just rode it ugly. The end of Sept me and my lady were out for a ride in the country and got nailed almost head on.She was wadded up and tossed in the ditch along with my bike,I flipped over the bike and ended up at the point of impact with a broken back.My lady has recovered and walking but far from ok.I'm still paralyzed from the waist down and may not get it back to normal. The itch to ride is still there but probably not a great idea to try to accomplish.
Probably screwed up by not spreading this out in several posts but oh well.
