Do your self a huge favor, get what you want the first time.... If your worried about finances, it will not get any better down the road, If your like me the money you would be saving you would just pi$$ it away on something else. If you know what you want ..... Go for it. Just saying...

For that matter, I wouldn't rule out any good used bike - find the best deal on the used bike of choice, and enjoy the ride!

A little side note, my dad picked up a '99 Police Commemorative Edition Ultra this weekend. I look forward to seeing and riding that.
