New member - Fat Bobber Dave
Hey Guys,
Just popping in to say Hi to y'all. Just signed up to the forum, and hoping to pick up some useful hints n tips on Big Twin ownership.
I've just taken delivery, 2 weeks ago, of a brand new 2010 FXDF Fat Bob. I've spent the last 3 years or so on a Sportster 883R, which was my first Harley. Great bike but a little cramped for my 6'2" frame. Having taken a test ride on the Fat Bob last year and instantly fallen in love with it, I've finally taken the plunge and bought one. Fits me like a glove - at last I have the room to stretch out in comfort.
I've been riding for 35 years, and previous bikes include seven or so Honda's, a couple of BMW's and a Ducati. Alongside the Fat Bob, I also have a Suzuki GSX1400 (may be unfamiliar to you Stateside guys, I hear you don't have 'em over there.
)
I'm based in Gloucester, south-west UK.
