New to HD Forum Site
Good Morning:
Beautiful morning in Wisconsin. I've been going to join for about a month now, but been busy taking care of my wife. She broke both bones in left leg and right arm too, roller blading, so besides work, there been little time. A good note, I've got the check book for now. She's right handed of course.
I've been on and off cycles for 40 years now, age 59. I've rode Honda, Harley, Kawasaki and my last ride is a Honda, more for my wife's wishes. I'm looking to pick up a nice used HD, not sure what yet, until she gets back to work. That's about 2 months away yet.
I do run a website for run, it's dedicated to the Trike World, and generates no income. I like it that way. I spent 20+ years in the Info. Tech world, and like many others my age, was outsourced 6 years ago. I no longer do that for a living, but still like to dabble and combine activities to help others.
As you've already guessed, I have a Honda Goldwing Trike with a Roadsmith conversion. The reason I want another HD, is to be on two wheels when mama doesn't want to go along. There's still that bit of freedom we all need.
Looking forward to reading an meeting some folks. I know so many great HD people. My brother-in-law just bought a 2010 HD UC Triglide two weeks ago, for the same reason my wife likes to ride. So, once the wife heals up there'll be four of on trikes wondering around the midwest on weekends.
Glad to finally join and be here. Will keep my eyes open for bike when the funds return
