New Guy-No Harley yet
Howdy folks, new guy here. The name is Mitch as you have probably already put together, and I am from Arizona, can't get much simpler than that.
I have no Harley as of yet, but I do have a bike, (Metric) and I absolutly hate it.
I was looking into the 10 Nightster, then I saw the 10 Forty-Eight. I did a google search for it in forums, and found this place. This place seems the be the most popular/knowledgeable from what I could see.
I like everything about the Forty-Eight, minus the tank. 2.1 is pretty effin small, and I don't like the writing on it; but I am still leaning towards it. It will be my wheels to get to and from school when I start it in the fall. I don't want to have to drive my fuel hogging truck everyday, and I just have to get out of that current bike I have.
My wife is also trying to buy a bike, she wants an 883Iron.
A little about me:
I am 23 years old. Currently in Iraq for my 2nd go, been in the Army just under 6 years. Getting out of the Army this summer, and will finally be starting college in the fall back home in Arizona. I love riding, there really isn't anything close to the thrill and peace than riding.

Lol, thanks Gemma. I don't think my wife would appreciate me eyeballing your "hump" either.
That would be great....my wife is from Minnesota, so she doesn't know anybody at all in Arizona. It would be great if she could find some chic friends to hang out with, instead of hanging out with mine.
Foxer-what are you looking into getting?
