Default New Gal from Central Texas

Greetings all! I am from Central Texas, and I've been a girlie rider for a few years now, but recently traded in my Sportster for a Street Glide.

My only question...ummmm...WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME HOW AWFUL THAT SPORTSTER WAS?!? LOL!

It wasn't that bad, but the ride compared to the SG! Wow - I could never do a u-turn in my driveway on my Sportster, but its a piece of cake on the Street Glide! Am loving it! The only thing I really miss from the 1200 is the pull of the throttle and power I got. ah well, I'm getting too old for the "need for speed" thing any way.

Any other ladies on a Street Glide? Drop me a line and let me know what you think of your ride too!

See ya'll on the road!

Default sportsters and glides

comparing sporters to glides is like apples and oranges. they are 2 different animals.
i've had 3 harleys out of 11 bikes and my current bike is an 05 1200R. without a doubt
the best running bike i've ever had.

Welcome and enjoy.
I've owned 3 sporties and enjoyed them all, just like their name says sport.
The Street Glide on the other hand is my current bike and it says it all in it's name too, glide.

Good luck, ride safe and sober.
