New HD rider from B.C. Canada
Hi all. Just joined the forums and I'm please to announce that I just purchased my first Harley. I started riding 5 years ago on an 1100 V-Star and found it hopeless on the freeways, then stepped way up to a new '07 GL1800 Wing, and sold my Yammie. I wanted something a little smaller for hopping around my small town and taking small trips away so I just purchased a 2008 Wide Glide. I'm 6'1" and can't wait to bring it back from Oregon, (I hope it fits). Any opinions on the bike, be honest please? It is base except for a two into one Vance exhaust system and it has apparently been re-mapped.
