RE: New to motorcycles in general
Zac -
Good for you on the motorcycle class. I've had my ride less than a month, started out the same way you did. Garaged the bike until I took the class. Found out at class that buying the bike was a good decision for me.
Took the class over a long weekend, took the bike out on several practice runs and have put over 120 miles on it.
My choice of bike came from sitting on them. I thoguht initally I wanted a fat boy or Road King. I went and test sat a few and decided the Wide Glide was for me. Found a used one at a good price and made it happen. Haven't regretted the decision in the least.
My only words of practical advice;
Get started slow and easy, and don't outride your experience. It's a very easy thing to do when you sit on 1200+ cc's and 60+ horses.
You'll find new tests everyday on the bike. Enjoy!
