New to motorcycles in general

RE: New to motorcycles in general
Welcome Zak from Virginia Beach.
It wasn't too long ago (3 months) I bought my first Harley and needless to say I hadn't rode a motorcycle in over 20 years. I bought a 2006 Softail Standard. I would say a Safety Class would be the first thing you should do. During my class, there were a couple of peolpe who had never ridden a bike before and during the class they discovered they shouldn't be riding one. Not to say they won't ever ride one but they didn't have the confidence to ride one in a parking lot let alone on the streets. It's just a good place to make sure you really want to ride before you spend the money.
Now as far as finding out more info on Harley's in general, I would look around here and head down to your Harley Stealer and they will give some info on the difference between all the different bikes.
Good luck.

Howdy from Dallas. You could check out the online magazine reviews, but many of them are anti-cruiser so just ignore any 'slow' or 'underpowered' BS.
HD's website has good info on their new models so that's a good starting point too.
