Well, I'm in the same pickle! Just installed a radio on my 2008 FLHT, and beep, beep, beep! Well to be honest, if you read the radio installation instructions (not a common practice amoung bikers) it does state that a new installment will require a calibration with the Digital Technition, i.e. the tool your dealer has.
Gonna bite the bullet and get it done...still, it shouldn't be necessary!

Welcome aboard from Biloxi Mississippi!

Sounds like the radio is not calibrated - the only way to have it done, is through Digital Technician... which will require a trip to the dealer.

Welcome to the forum from SE Michigan. If you can't find your answer in one of the technical articles - get yourself a copy of the original factory manual. Mine has always been my best friend.
