Default Hallo from Germany

'Evening all. I'm Sean, currently living in Germany courtesy of the USAF. Just got a sweet deal on an '07 Heritage, barely broke in (1800 miles!). Wasn't even really looking, but for $12.5K, I just couldn't pass it up. Fortunately, the wife was supportive.
It's my 2nd Harley--I'm in the process of selling my '06 Sporty (which I'm really gonna miss). First EFI bike though. I have a LOT to learn in that area. Looks like lots of good info here--looking forward to hangin' with y'all.

Default Hello

Hello back at you. Retired USAF and I also use too live in GE courtesy of USAF. Enjoy. Looking back it was some of the best years of my life. What Base? Did they close Bitburg? Never mind I can see your at Spangdalem. Have you been to the nature park between Spang and Bit? They use to have a down hill ride. The ride was a skateboard looking contraption with a joystick. Kinda like a water slide. It was fast and fun. So, lets see a pic of that Hog!

Thanks for the welcome!
-Chuckie, I'm at Spang, the riding's great here. And I've been to EifelPark many times!

-FXD, I've been living in the Eifel for almost 3 years, but any suggestions are certainly welcome! I did some riding up on the Dutch coastline in October as part of the "Belgium 500 miles" ride. Funny thing about that was most of the ride seemed to be in France and Holland!

Sean,

See attachment

Go to www.gpstracks.nl and click "Auto & Motorroutes".
After that click "Duitsland" . Now a map from Germany shows up ... move your cursor over the blue dots and the route names show up .. scroll down to see the route info and click on the route name... the route info opens... scroll down and click Google map to expose the route.

If you click Download Route a Zip file opens... click the file you want (formats: mps for GARMIN, itn for TOMTOM).

More links and info to follow!
