Default New rider

Hey all. Not having ridden a bike in 28 yrs decided to buy a 2000 Road King Sep 18. Was 16 when I had the green AMF 250 Sprint - didn't have it long as parents convinced me to sell. So, 28 yrs later I take the MSF premium course and get a license. Intended to get the lic. before buying a (winter special) bike. Got such a deal on a low mile ex-cop bike had to pull the trigger early. Anyway, got caught in the rain last night (nerve racking) chock it up to poor planning. Needless to say, I learn volumes every time I ride. Rode 150 miles through twisty country roads, beside the Missouri River, got chased by dogs, and accidentally found Quantrill's grave. How wild is that? Having a lot of fun but running out of nice riding days as it is starting to get cold and wet. Still and all, have less than 400 miles riding time. Very green rider but determined to learn in measured paces.

Welcome from Utah. We are expecting snow early next week, but I've been riding to work regularly. As long as the road are mostly dry, I'll be riding. Be careful, ride safe.
