Default new guy on the block

since i was a young man i have loved motorcycles, but have never had one. i stumbled across an opportunity and ended up with a 94 sportster. i am in the process of making some modifications and learning how to ride. thought i would jump in with both feet. i hope to learn and enjoy not just riding, but also the culture that comes with it. any tips, hints, or tricks would be greatly appreciated, as i attempt to educate myself. Thanks, S

Take one of the motorcycle rider's courses. Harley dealers sponsor them usually. Then practice, practice, practice. Most of all RIDE SAFE.

Welcome from Bristol, England.

Take the MSF course.

Spend time practising slow speed manouvers somewhere like an empty car park. Practise practise practise.

Enjoy the ride and stay safe.
