A New Old Guy says Hello from Illinois
Hi, I'm an old guy (66) who just got a new '09 Sportster 883 Custom. It's been 44 years since I had a bike (a 250 cc German Zundapp when I was in the army at Ft. Hood, TX) and I'm loving every minute of it. I took the Riders Edge course since it had been so long, and I'm glad I did. I live in the Chicago area, so riding will not happen as much as I'd like during the winter months. The bike had 6 miles on it when it was delivered and now has 400 after about 7 weeks. The first couple of weeks, I didn't ride it hardly at all since I hadn't taken the course yet and didn't want to do anything stupid. And now, I've been on vacation in southern California for over a week. I'm missing it!

know what your talking about ,,,winter comin on ... i just bought another bike myself , a heritage softail and i'm not going to be able to ride as much as i would like to but it's a good time to polish and add chrome and personalize you new bike .. have fun and ride safe and God Bless.
