Ultima drive belt.
Hello everybody,
I'm new here and I need some help.
I own an custom made bike with Ultima 6 speed tranny Left side drive.
The drive belt is an Ultima 3'35' Drag race style.
I'm having a problem with the mainshaft nut. I can't loosen it. I've been using an airgun with no result. Can it be a left side thread? I've read the instruction manual for the belt and clutch mounting but there stays nothing about the threads. On a stock Harley the threads er left side.
I hope that somebody out there can give me an advice.
Thanks in advance.

An educated guess would say you need to loosen it in the opposite direction it spins when operating. IMHO

Thanks anyway. By the way for the knowledges sake: i found that the threads are left-hand.
Have a nice day.
PS: I'm living in Norway and right now the weather is wet and cold.
No riding for almost six months.
