2003 Road Glide:
Hey what's up we are planning a ride to Mt Airy, NC from Columbia, SC Oct 9. We are just riding. Thought we would check out Mayberry. Also Fairy State Park.
Anyone know of anything much to do while we are in the area?

Welcome, from Raleigh... best place to ask, would be "Road Trips" or 'southeast" but because I'm here... and you asked
1) Mt Airy has that whole Andy Griffth thing going for it,
2)Pilot Mountain, and or Hanging Rock State Park,
3)The Blue Ridge Parkway.
