New to Harley and a Newbie Here!
Last year after picking my wife up at the Tampa airport and heading to a friends house to waterski, we passed a HD Dealership and she said with our three sons out of the house, we ought to buy a Harley. This is the last thing I would EVER expect her to say and we've been married for over 30 years. Nine months later and after passing the ABATE class, I finally realized my lifelong dream to own a Harley. Having 3 sons, you couldn't tell them while they were growing up no to motorcycles and have one yourself. When signing the papers at the dealership I was asked how many miles a year I would ride and my answer was 1000-1200. The manager said it wouldn't happen and I am surprised that my estimate was for the first month. I never realized how much fun ridding would be. See you on the road soon! The Road King is truly King of the Road! I just turned 2400 miles yesterday.
