Gees. Welcome to the forum...but I'm someone who has dreamed of owning a Harley all my life. I think you have a lot to learn about H.D., and American history.

Some of you guys are a little irritable it seems. Maybe I should explain myself. As a former Regional Manager for American Ironhorse Motorcycles, I swore off HD simply because it was a competitor. Yes, I realize that AIH was overpriced, but somehow that never comes into your head when they are paying the bills. My mind has not change because of money, just a change in lifestyle, and nothing else has a feel of rumble going through the grips, since the metrics like to use super powered couterbalancers to lower vibrations. I have no problem with my American history, as I realize completely the iconic value of HD in this country. I also realize that some people refuse to take of the black and orange glasses and realize that these bikes do have some shortcomings(as do all bikes). Its up to each owner and rider to discover what the shortcomings are, and adjust the bike to fit their personal needs. Its a great bike and this forum has proven to have a lot of great people with a wealth of information. Thanks to everyone!
