Hi everyone, i'm a new member in this forum and actually i don't own a Harley (YET!!!). That's the main reason why i registered. I haven't had the opportunity of riding a Harley but i own a Suzuki V-strom. I know they are completely different bikes and riding styles, but last week i went to a Harley store in my local town (Santiago, Chile) and i fell in love with the bikes and everything they stand for (saler did a good job hahaha). So now i'm decided to go for a Harley but i don't know which one to get between a 883 Iron and a 1200 Nightster. I love the look of the Iron but consediring i'm used to an agile and faster bike (V-strom) the 1200 might be the one for me.

Go test ride each one! Good thing about Harley is that most dealers will let you test ride a bike to see how it feels.

Welcome from Oregon City. I'd get the Iron and if it doesn't have enough power for you, drop in the the 1200 kit and keep the 883 gearing.
