New Guy
I've been reading and learninig alot from all of you so I decided to register. I may be a bit premature as I have not bought my bike yet. I am an active duty Army Officer and loving life now that I'm in El Paso where you can ride year round. Just as I was about to finalize the purchase on a beautiful black pearl '09 FXDF, I found out that I had to have a multi level spinal fusion. Obviously I put the bike on hold. Recovery is going well enough that the Dr says I should be ready to ride by Nov or Dec. I guess the silver lining is that I will get to see the 2010s before I buy. Anyone who has any input on the Fatbob, riding after spinal surgery or military/veterans riding groups, feel free to educate me. Glad to be here and thanks for all that I've already learned from reading here.
