Newbie here
Hello
I just wanted to finally introduce myself, I have been lurking for about a year now reading and researching. I was kicking around the idea of buying a bike and learning to ride last year when I walked into my local HD dealership and fell in love with the Nightster. So I went home jumped online, that’s when I found this site.
Fast forward to now, I took the MSF basic rider course last weekend that was my very first time every on a motorcycle. About half way through the first day on the range I was questioning if I really wanted to ride. But half way through the second day on the range, I knew this was something I wanted to pursue. I finished the course, passed the final evaluation test only messing up one time on final evaluation. The right hand turn got me I clipped the inside cone on exit. The instructor told me If I would have leaned more I would have missed it completely (I still need some work on my right hand turns).
And finally, I signed the papers on my first bike a slightly used silver & black 2008 Nightster Tuesday, I am picking her up this Saturday.
I look forward to meeting some of you and continuing to learn more about my new bike.
FYI my screen name comes form my other habit

Congrats on your bike and Welcome to the forum.
Look around, there are a lot of different areas to read & learn from.
Questions like (What’s the best?), or (Having trouble with?), are asked and answered hundreds of times in the threads.
The search feature get U most answers, or Google it.
If you can’t find the answer, start a thread in the correct Section area.
