Default Hi All! from Lawrenceville, GA

Hi everyone! I'm new to the Forum. Wanted to get on here and see what I could find out before buying my first Harley. I am crossing over into the Harley world from my Crotch Rocket (which I am keeping by the way... I do love my track days!)

Any suggestions on what kind of bike an average build girl with race experience will be happy with?

Welcome aboard. I also crossed over to Harley from sportbikes. Any Harley should keep you happy. Have you gone to the dealer yet and sat on a few bikes?

Welcome from SoCal. Riding a Harley is just plain "different". I'm sure you'll enjoy the ride whatever you end up with. I switched over and my Harley is the bike I ride everyday.

Welcome aboard, go to a dealer and test a few, or rent one for a day and see what you like. Hello from New Jersey.

LMAO @ your screen name!!!! Welcome to the HDF from Newnan, GA.

Been over to the Barber yet in B'Ham? If not, you need to go.

As to your question, right off the cuff, I'm thinking a VRod, but the best thing to do is find a dealer in the area offering a demo day and go ride as many different bikes as you can and see what you like. Lots of the guys here still have rockets they enjoy riding. Just depends on what you want the Harley for I guess. The VRod, Sportsters (Nightsters/883 Iron) and softails like the Night Train and Deuce are going to be more nimble, but maybe not the most comfortable for the long haul so just decide what it is you're really after. Best of luck.

Hi *******, from Conyers not too far from ya. I rode the XR-1200 which is a euro looking Sportster that is pretty cool. My crotch rocket is a Road King Classic.

Another welcome from Newnan, GA. Sound advice so far. The type of Harleys can fit many style of riders. Kinda need to determine what you want to do with the bike to find out which fits your style.
