Hello from NE Kentucky! PICS
First off I want to say hello and I am so glad I can finally say I own a real piece of AMERICAN HISTORY!
well I was going to buy this black bike which is a 87 XLH 1100 but I found this 87 883 with a bunch of extras for the same money and same distance from home. so...here they are.
yes I know I need to change my user name but Im not sure I can. I joined when I had decided on the black one but the title wasn't clear.

Congrats on your bike and Welcome to the forum.
To learn how to get around in here Go to the forum main page and look it over and it would really help to read the Rules and Guidelines.
There are a lot of sections and areas to address your questions.
Sections for each type of Bike.
Sections for Tech questions.
Just look it over and U will learn the ropes in here.
New member often ask the same questions like, (What’s the best) mufflers, seat, Cams, tires, oils, and have been answered hundreds of times.
Do a search in this forum or even Google for questions.
If you can’t find the answer, then Start a thread and go from there.
At least U tried….

do you guys think I made the right decision? They both have a little less than 20k but the black one only has 500 miles since rebuild and my blue one has almost 5k since rebuild but I got 3 EXTRA sets of bars, 2 sissy bars, pillow top seat, extra grips, pegs, calipers, pads, air cleaner, hardware, mag wheel and tire and the black one doesn't have any extras at all and I would have to add signals to pass inspection.
I think I made the right choice but I wanted some more opinions.
