Default Badass 70's bars

(Middle Bike)
I've seen these handlebars in old documentaries and they look perfect for my shoulder problems. Does anyone know anything about this type of handlebar? Is there anywhere you can still these type of bars or do they have to be custom? Thanks in advance!!

The super newbie strikes again. haha

I have always known that style of handlebar as "bullhorn". Whether that is the official technical term for them, I don't know. I am not sure if there are any manufacturers out there who still make them, but I am sure you could find some on ebay or possibly in the classifieds section in this forum.

When I search "bullhorn," handlebars for fix gear bicycles come up.. It seems as if these bars were quite popular in the 70's and would be easier to come across. They remind me of a buckhorn/ape crossbreed or something.. but what do I know. I'd love to be able to find out more.

I had a pair of SIX bend bars in the early 70's they made 3bends on each side ending up like those above as far as hand position. haven't seen a set for years though.
they did make turning corners harder, and I didn't really like them at first, Just have to get used to them, but they looked good 40ys ago.....
welcome from Indy.
