Default getting reamed

I ride a 1999 roadking classic and try to do all my own repairs and customizing.Im rebuilding my rocker boxes Im putting in new rocker arm shafts and bushings. And the bushing have to be reamed out with harley davidson tool # HD 94804-57 .And if you've been around bikes for awhile you know HD stands for high dollar.Im looking for information on this reamer they want $315.00 at the harley davidson dealer.Maybe somebody has one or knows the size or knows where I could get one with a little less of a bite in the wallet?

Welcome to the forum. I do as much of my work as I can but I can't answer your question. Try posting in one of the tech sections. Good luck.

Why does it have to be a HD reamer? Can't any bushing reamer work? I guess that was your original question eh? Any machinists out there??

If your harley dealer is friendly, they will prolly let you go in with your set of calipers and measure the reamer. Then you can go to your local engineering tools shop and get the ame thing for 1/4 the price.
