New HD Owner
Hello All,
I purchased my first Harley Davidson Motorcycle, 2008 Road King (Peace Officer Edition), on January 30th. The purchase was a few years later than planned but it finally happened (oldest daughter's marriage came first!)
I retired from the Army in 2002 and went straight to work on a second pension. Had I known life in the civilian sector was so good, I might have opted out of the Army a little earlier (no regrets though).
The family and I settled down here in the midwest and are dealing with the winter cold. I look forward to the first warm day of salt-free asphalt so that I may begin putting some miles on the new bike.
Any and all advise, information, and tips about being a new owner are welcome.
