Thumbs up

My choice would be the softail, but you must go with your gut instinct. Good luck in your choice. Welcome from Surrey B.C. CANADA

When I ws buying my Ultra, a young guy, soldier from Fort Lewis came in to trade his V-rod. Couldn't stand to be on it longer than an hour. We're talk'n a six foot, built like a statue young guy. Good luck on the choice. Welcome from the coast of Washington State!

Welcome from Northern California, I test drove a V Rod and was not impressed...but that is just my opinion, you should rent one for the weekend when the weather gets better.

I own a Dyna but have ridden two Vrods. The one I rode that I would reccomend for you was a NightRod, it had mid controls which I believe you would probably like better than the forward controls as you are 5'3".Even being 6'4" I like mid controls better because your taking weight off of your butt and tailbone and when you hit a bad bump you can stand on the pegs. The Vrods were a lot of fun also being very fast.
