Default HD front fork air baffle

I have an 05 Electraglide Ultra and am looking for anyone who has installed the front fork air baffle and ridden in extreme weather (rain/sleet). Will this baffle keep the road water from rising up between the tank and farring?? On a return trip from Death Valley to Northern Nevada I had the pleasure of riding the last 150 miles in pouring rain mixed with snow, being hunkered down behind the windshield did not seem to keep the water off my face, and seemed to only make it worse as it came up off the front tire. Will this baffle work to keep the water from rising off the front tire?
Thanks for any suggestions or replies on how to resolve the problem.
Joe

Welcome from Northeast Ohio.
I don't have the fork baffle but a friend of mine does on his EG Classic and he loves it.

Welcome from Virginia. Can't answer your question, but you might post it on the Touring forum and get lots of comments.

Welcome from the coast of Washington State! I just always figured if you're gonna ride in the rain, you're going to get wet...Fork baffles? hmmmm, I'm looking into them now....

I put one on my Road King. I rode from Columbus to Dayton Ohio in a thunderstorm and my face and glasses stayed fairly dry. It does stop some buffeting. At the price you can't go wrong.
