Hey gang,
28 year old guy here from Philadelphia!
I just got my permit and I'm signed up for the MSF course here in the near future.
I dont own a bike yet, but I'm looking into the Nightster
Think that's an o.k choice for a 1st bike?

Hey, neighbor! Enjoy the course. I took it in June and it really helped me to get comfortable again on the scoot after a 20 year layoff. As far as the choice of bike goes, visit A FEW Harley dealers and talk to the sales folks. I was amazed at how helpful they were and the advice they gave put me on the perfect bike for me. If you can get to a demo day and ride a few models after you have it narrowed down, great. If you can't get a demo and you really want to know that you made the right choice, rent one. The dealer that I bought from (Liberty Harley in Rahway, NJ) deducts the cost of the rental from your purchase price!
Best of luck, and welcome from Staten Island, NY!!!
