My 2nd Harley, 37 years later
I recently aquired a 2003 Dyna Sport and have been utilizing the search function a lot to guide me in the right direction. This forum is very helpful for that. I got my first bike, a Honda Trail 90, the day I turned 15 1/2 and paid for it delivering papers every day. Since that time I have always had a least one motorcycle. I got an XLCH Sportster in 1966 and it was my only transportation for a couple of years and finally sold it three years later to a friend who made me an offer I couldn't refuse. A have had a series of British bikes followed by a few Japenese and for the last 14 years I have had BMW's. I still have a K1200LT and an old Airhead GS. The Dyna Sport kinda falls between those two. I like it more each time I ride it. I am about to start to do some engine modifications and a few cosmetic upgrades. Modifying Harleys seems to be a disease you aquire when you but the bike. I will be looking to this forum for advice as I proceed. FXDXSteve has given me some specific help already.
