Hey guys,
I'm in the market for a bike and looking hard at the Sportster XL1200C and looking for some feedback. Budget is driving me to this bike, but want to make sure I am getting the right bike for my needs. Main trips roughly 30 miles to and from work and weekend rides with my wife.
How is the ride? How is it 2up?
Thanks...glad to be a part of the forum.

Dude, i have to say that you are approaching the decision from the wrong direction.
A common mistake many new HD owners make is settling for less bike than they really want in order to save some cash.
But what happens is that is a year or maybe two, they end up trading their "starter" bike in on what they wanted to begin with.
So in the long run, trrying to save money actually cost them more.
Having said that, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH A SPORTSTER!
If that is the bike that you really want, then you will be very happy and enjoy every second you spend in the saddle.
Buy what you want, no matter what I, or anyone else, says.
Oh, and welcome from sunny San Diego!

Welcome to the forum! Go to your dealer and try a few on for size. Nothing wrong with a Sporty and there are also some good used rides out there that may fit your budget. Be safe! Good luck to you!
