Hello,
I want to make the switch to a Harley. I have a Kawasaki Voyager XII (touring) and want to switch to a nice Harley cruiser that has a couple of bags and will still be comfortable for a bit of touring. Stereo is not that important to me.
Heritage Softail vs. Road King or Road Glide
What is the biggest difference in these bikes? In their rides/suspensions? Or would you make another reccomendation?

The Touring bikes (Road King, & Road Glide) all have adjustable air suspension. The Heritage may be adjustable, but I'm not sure. If you're wanting something with just a couple of bags that you can do some touring with, the Road King Classic would be my pick.
The Road King Classic and the Road Glide have Cruise Control, where the Road King Standard and the Heritage do not. For me, that one feature made all the difference....and, after owning a bike with cruise.... well, I won't own another one withOUT it.

Welcome to the forum from Mississippi and I would suggest looking at the Roadking Classic, although the Heritage is a great bike, it's suspension can't compete with the touring family Harleys.

 

My personal choice would be the Roadking of which ever flavor you prefer. You can stip it down for daily bar hopping or load it up as much as you like. Tourpaks and fairings may be added depending on how much you really tour with it. However, the best bargain in the H-D line is probably still the ElectraGlide Standard. You'll enjoy whichever one you choose.
