Hey all, this is my first time actually belonging to a forum, I got so much to learn figured this might be a good way how. Well, I've allways wanted a bike, and was returning from a holiday tour of Iraq and Afghanistan "I'm a crew cheif on the A-10 Warthog". When we took a pitstop at Sigonella Naval Air Station, which featured on base...Harley Davidson Military sales, I said "screw it, I'm young and single" and purchased a '08 Softail Custom, never even been on or ridden a bike, let a lone a harley. I've allways wanted a bike, and my best friend convinced me a harley was the way to go. Anyways two nights ago, he decided it was time for me to learn how to ride...starting off on his 97' Bad Boy, once I started her up, and took her for a ride...allmost crashing at first, haha, didn't expect that much power and froze. I have been smiling since. I finally get it, and am in love. I signed the papers Jan, and my girl doesn't come until the end of may...which sucks. I am so damn ready to go for a ride. Anyways my name is peter, living in michigan, you guys will be hearing from me with all sorts of dumb questions. looking forward to meet yall.

If i did this right...here is a pic from the first lesson, I put my helmet on 2 seconds later! and another pic of me a couple months ago standing next to my jet "lucky charms". As soon as I get my bike-the photos will come!
