hey everyone, names cody from southern maine. just bought my first HD (first bike too) a '72 sportster. always wanted to ride and always wanted a harley. to me theyre the ultimate american bike, just a true icon. now i just have to go get my permit so i can ride it![8D]

Welcome from the Oregon Coast. Can't urge you enough ttake the biginning riders course. I don't know about Maine, but in Oregon if you take the course you just take your completion certificate down to DMV and get your endorsement. Check with your local HD dealer they should have a course schedule and sign you up.
