Hi, new member from South Dakota. Just got a 1990 FLHTC. Always wanted a dresser. I am trying to determine how to know if I have a right sided or left sided drive so I can upgrade to 6 speed tranny. Intend to do some long range trips and want better mileage and less high rpm wear and tear. May be a dumb question, but can someone help? Thanks in advance. Sunka

Howdy from Hershey, Pa.
If you're sitting on the bike and the rear sprocket (chain drive) or pulley (belt drive) is on your right then it's a right hand drive. If it's on your left, then it's a left hand drive.
