Finally got my first Harley!
I have been reading these posts for a while now, gathering information, looking at pictures and weighing opinions and I want to thank everyone for helping make my decisions so much easier. I am from Concord, NC and decided on the '08 Road King Classic. I am loving it so far and I am sure I will back for some advice on one thing or another.
My previous bikes:
[ul][*]'82 Kawasaki 750 LTD (sold it when I had to move fora job)[*]'99 Honda Valkyrie (sold it when my wife got pregnant and her needs suddenly outweighed mine!)[*]'05 Suzuki Boulevard C50 (sold it for the following)[*]'08 Road King Classic[/ul]
The Valkyrie was a great ride with lots of power from those 6 cylinders but I must say that after putting the Rineharts, air cleaner and Stage 1 on the RK, it is so beautifully responsive! Corners really great for a big cruiser too.
As soon as I get a chance, I will upload a pic. Still getting a little extra chrome before I unvale her!
