What's up everybody? I just bought a new 2008 Harley Nightster (black) abouta week ago. I made the leap from a Suzuki Boulevard M50. The M50 was a great bike, but it looked so.....plastickey. It looked alittle cheapish to me, and didn't really fit my riding style. I've ALWAYS loved that old school california style bike; stripped down, bobber looking, small tank and stuff. I found that with the nightster, plus it feels like a freakin bicycle, it gets me down the road pretty damn fast, and it looks mean. I like to ride alittle more active than some people I guess. I like to stand up on my pegs sometimes, duck down and hang my arm down and stuff, and just have fun when I ride, which for me involves alittle more movement, but always in a safe way .
Here's some background info on me:
I'm 21 serving active duty in the US Air Force at Eglin AFB in Florida.I'moriginally from Texarkana, TX. I'm an HVAC technician which is Air Force languge for heating and air conditioning. I maintain A/C to very important places, and that's about all you need to know as far as that goes. It's a fun job, it requires alot of thinking. I'm also married and have been for over a year. I like being married even though we're young. We don't have kids, so our life consists of just hanging out, riding alot, and doing whatever we want.
I'm glad I found a good forum for HD owners, because I have some questions, seeing how this is my first Harley and I'm still adjusting to how much better it is than metric, haha! I can finally just type in a part and a website will come up with just what I want. It was so hard to find unique parts for Suzuki M50, but with Harley, the possibilities are endless!

Welcome to the forums, from the beautiful mountains of North Georgia.
You need to put a pic of your bike on here, when you can, not just a link that we have to go to...........
Have an old buddy who lives near Eglin, in Destin, I think.....
