Hi all, wanted to introduce myself. Grew up riding metrics, toured every state and province (on a decided untouring bike); met my lovely wife, looked down at the odometer one day- it was over 400,000 KM, got off it and said to myself, i've done everything you can do on one of these- my next one is a Harley.
Then life happens-2 daughters later (almost grown up now), living in the US (from Canada), I get mail from HD this spring for free vouchers to see Wild Hogs- you only have to go to the dealer and pick them up. Hmm...sneaky..Well after not jumping right away, and researching prices, et al, we ended up with a 2006 Softail Standard. Had the chrome engine package, updated pegs,chrome fender tips, great price.
Well, I found out my OL is a riding junkie like me, so since June 10K on her, along with saddlebags, sissy bar,detachable shield, luggage rack. Been to a bunch of rallies, was on that other board-but that is going nowhere fast.
