Just found this forum today. Purchased a black XL1200R through Overseas Military Sales while deployed to Qatar this summer. Picked the bike up at Route 66 Harley in Tulsa, Ok mid September and couldn't be happier. My first HD although I've had Norton's, Honda's, Yamaha's and Suzuki's in the past. Haven't ridden in quite a few years but it's all coming back. I am more careful now though since I'm in my 50's. I plan on taking a MSF course but they're hard to find and get into. I've been overwhelmed with the feeling and attention you get as a HD rider, a special group. I love the bike and am already planning an upgrade when I retire from the military in a few years. Hope to be able to gain some HD knowledge from the forum. Glad to be here.

the local MSF courses at TulsaTech start up again in spring.
register early they fill up fast.
also there is a group of riders that run the OREP course..
they have it in Drumright at different times
