Greetings all!
New memberto this forum, old member of a couple others. My name's Laurie and here's a little about me:
Lived in the Lansing/East Lansing area of Michigan for 36 long, cold friggin' years before I flew the coop and ended up here on Hilton Head Island, SC in 2001 where I can ride year round. Met my husband Travus here in 2004 and got married in Vegas in 2005. (Did I mention yet that I have a few tattoos?).
I learned to ride in a motorcycle safety course in 1994 - never been on a motorcycle or dirt bike before in my LIFE. Bought & rode my '82 1000cc ironhead Sporty home a week later. Did it myself, thank you very much, since everyone thought I was talking sh*t.
Graduated to my current1550cc 2000 Road King Classic in July '02 -95 cubic inches,and with the fishtails, you'll probably hear me coming! (Although I am a firm believer in being considerate and not just wanking the throttle to hear myself make noise).
I'm also into cars - I own a'99 LS1 Trans Am, and made my dream of owning a REAL muscle car come true last summer when I bought my '68 Firebird 400 (along with the newly-restored numbers-matching 350 HO motor).
I also loveshooting firearms - been shooting "real" guns for for about a year and a half, am a recent NRA member and CWP holder. My husband Travus has a large collection of guns, so I've been lucky enough to be able to shoot a large variety of weapons. My favorites so far are the AR-15 and the Ruger GP-100 .357 revolver that I took my CWP class with, although I think the Kimber Ultra CDP II .45 I shot awhile back has taken the top spot. I'm saving my pennies now for a Kimber since I discovered a couple weeks ago that the Springfield Armory XD-45 I was planning to buy is WAAY too big for me to carry concealed.

I also likereading, NASCAR, drag racing, UFC, WWE wrestling, Halloween, golf, darts, renaissance festivals, music of all kinds, playing "real or fake" at the strip bar,and laughing my @ss off whenever possible! I guess you could say I'm kinda like a guy, only with b**bies! LOL!
Looking forward to running into some old friends here, and meeting some new ones.
Please excuse any technical newbie f*ckups I may make - still learning the ropes on what sizes and #'s of pics are allowed, etc.
