Welcome Pete to the HDFORUM.

I hope you continue to enjoy your ride here to.

Only as a suggestion, by me as a USER, create a signature line similar to my one line on my bike information.

The year, model, and all the letters Harley assigned to the bike. It will appear at the bottom of your post.

Doing this will be helpful if you ask a question. All Harleys aren't the same with many changes and variations over the year.

Of course, you can always add it to any thread with a question.

You can also add any other details you choose and a favorite picture to the signature lines.

If you like, you can also add a favorite picture for an Avatar you see at the top left of all your posts as a postal

PS…Questions would probably get more comments in the proper area using the dropdown menu under Forums in the menu above. Not even possible for me to leave a shortcut without knowing what you have.

It’s possible if a Community Team member sees your post, they may move it to a better area.

If they do, only as a suggestion by me, make another new thread back here in the welcome area to say hello and if desired introduce yourself.

New 2023 Nightster here, ABS module went within the bike's first 150 miles (leaking brake fluid). I took the bike back to the dealer, they got a 2nd one from the factory, that one wouldn't register with the bike's on-board computer. 2nd one had to be sent back to Harley so the master techs could verify that the brand new factory replacement ABS module was bad out of the box, and the local tech hadn't errored with the install. 3rd ABS module was sent, that one seems to work, not leaking brake fluid, and would properly register with the bike's computer.

I'd take the bike back to Harley, they will make it it right (eventually).
