Default Master cylinder

I have a '02 sporty and front master cylinder is broken at the lever. I ended up snagging up one but its off a '04 im unsure if it will actually work and seeing if anyone knows. I know they stopped my type of Mc in '03 and switched them in '04 to like '13 or something like that.

I have tried everything for the front brake. Bled them over n over n over. Tried different methods. I just emptied the system the last time and refilled it from the caliper bleeder pushing fluid thru upwards with a livestock syringe and a clear fuel line attached. Idk what else to do im at a loss.
