When you ride a Road King, you will be a King of the Road. It is an apt name and your feeling riding it is justified. Until 1966, all FL’s from 1941 have been king of the Road bikes, Hydra, Duo, and Electra-glides were prior to fairings. Oh Harley offered a canvas protection earlier, but they were an add on and take off.
In 1983 I think, Harley introduced the Electric glide sport, FLHS, with the king of the road getting the Road King mo****r in 1994.
