Went to adjust the clutch last night because all of the engagement was happening at the last bit of lever throw. Recently "rebuilt primary", so the previous owner said.... Hmmm. Didn't even need to use a wrench to take the the bolt out. Bike is also missing the main breaker, discovered that when I installed a voltage regulator. Some people shouldn't be allowed to work on bikes, lol. Other than that, I am loving the bike and all of the wonderful information contained on this forum!
Completely stripped threads in the clutch release plate. Lots of tool/wrench marks on the surface too. Clearly serviced by a gorilla...
