So, I just purchased a 2014 Ultra Limited and feeling excited and relieved. and LUCKY to find A good deal . The prices are insane on used Harley's! Only 1200 miles and stored in a heated garage for it's lifetime. Until now. My garage is not heated.
The bike looks F^%$# new!
The previous, original owner said he just never really rode it much (duh!) and decided to put it up for a quick sale. He is a wealthy guy and as he said "getting rid of some of my toys" . He owns a few car dealerships.
$500 deposit but I do not have possession of the bike yet due to my own life. Getting my daughter to college today. I pick up the bike tomorrow and will put up some pictures to prove I am not bullsh&^%

New member Long Island NY. Ok , so here is where i'm at. I am a member on several car forums and a Honda cycle forum. I have a 2008 Honda VTX1300 and love it! But, and it's a BIG BUT. Long rides on the Honda are killing my back and yes, butt. Honda seat SUCKS! I have been looking to upgrade for a few months now but the more I look the more I change my mind. First I was looking at Road Kings because I used to ride one and am familiar. Then interested in the Street Glide (used to hate the fairing but it has grown on me) Now I'm looking at an 2014 Ultra Limited, beautiful silver and dark grey color but the seller doesn't return messages. (Why put a sell ad and ignore inquiries?) I'm thinking an Ultra but taking the Tour Pack off and only putting it on maybe twice a year for long tour rides. I don't think I will need it day to day. So yes the more I look the more I confuse myself. A friend just spent, out the door $33k on a Road Glide. To me that's NUTS. I am looking at spending 15-18k max. Thanks for any advice. I'm looking at the forum for info but if ya have good advice I'll take it
PS: Somehow I convinced my wife that 1) a new bike is a good idea and 2) keeping the Honda is also a good idea.
