Newbie from accross the pond!
Hey there from the uk,friend told me about this site...fantastic! not a lot like this in the uk....unlimited reading...love it!
Can anybody give me any tips on how to upload my pics(avatar)have tried to re-size using the link in the newbies area but still keep getting the message "file too large"...its driving me nuts!! Will keep trying but all this computer wizadry is beyond me

Welcome from London - where you posting from?
There's load of info about posting pics but basically you need to upload your pictures to a hosting site e.g. photobucket (it's free)
Then just copy the links it will give you into this site.
