I like to restore and tour on vintage motorcycles. Call it my hobbie. I don’t do frame up stuff I just buy them as they are and make them reliable and 100% safe to tour on. I will improve the cosmetics if I can find OEM parts cheap enough. I do my own wrenching. All have been European metric bikes up till now. I have been looking for a vintage Harley to do going on 3 years. What I find are museum pieces or something that has been so personalized or bastardized that they are no use to me. I found a 1983 FLHT rubber mounted shovelhead and it still has the oil bath final drive on it. In the pic the front end has been restored to factory specs and wheel bearings replaced and one relay to make the charging system work. Just hung the turn signals to be wired in. 40k on the clock and into it for $3700.00 so far . I have much to learn and hoping I can get answers to problems as they pop up here on the forum. This one might be a keeper. I have sold all but 3 of my other projects.

Now let’s get serious for your orientation. Go down the hall on your left to the 1st room. No, wait. The 1st room on your right. That is where the commissary is.
Then you will see doors marked for the mortuary, skeet shooting, a room where we make fun of In-Jun bikes, and of course we have a ahh, umm, oh yeah a across the hall.
We had a BOMB MAKING room but, well, ahhhhh, 1 of the guys just didn't understand Blasting Caps very well so..... you know.
We have our own pub .
There are several places where you can familiarize your self with the .
So don't be a wall flower watching others . Get involved.

You will find the knowledge here is EXCELLENT and these here mates are willing to help you in any way they can. ‘juss be careful. There are some “Trolls”, so I suggest just ignoring them ‘ole farts.
